See us at the Boatshow!!

The Mission Bay Aquatic Center and Mission Bay Youth Watersports Camp will be hosting booths in the Kids Area of the San diego Boat Show, at the San Diego Convention Center, January 5th through 8th.

Activities at the MBAC booth will include boat painting, sand art, a fishing game, safe boating materials, and free give-aways!! We will also be hosting a photo booth where you can get your picture surfing a giant wave emailed to you for free!!

Whether you want to climb aboard and explore the boat of your dreams, want to learn more about the world of boating or are serious about buying and researching a boat, there is something for everyone at the 2006 San Diego Boat Show. Nearly 30,000 people from all over San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and Arizona will attend to preview what's will be new on water summer 2006 and to have a day of fun at the popular one time of year event.

Don't miss the expansive Big Bay children's area, sponsored by The Port of San Diego, that will feature Twiggy the real life water skiing squirrel. More fun activities in the family area include a water safety puppet show for kids and an enormous inflatable slide.
There are more than 17 million recreational boats owned in the United States making California the second top boating state in the nation. The San Diego Boat Show is the second largest annual consumer event at the San Diego Convention Center. Boating is big business in San Diego and the 2006 San Diego Boat Show is THE place to go to learn all you need to know and experience the joys of boating first-hand.

San Diego Boat Show hours are:
Thursday and Friday, January 5 and 6 from noon to 8:00 p.m.,
Saturday, January 7 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 8 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
