City Council approves new 25-year MBAC lease! |
|
Yesterday, July 15th, at approximately 3pm the San Diego City Council voted to approve the new MBAC 25-year lease (15 + 10 extesion) agreement closing 12-years of negotiations and review. We would like to thank all of you who supported us in this process with your emails, calls of support, and especially to those of you who showed up in person or spoke directly to the City Council. We couldn't have done it without your support!
We were touched by some of the personal stories we heard MBAC users tell the City Council about the value of the MBAC in their lives and it served as a reminder to us of the important work we are doing. We are committed to continuing to provide these services to you and the broad range of users who have benefited by programs at MBAC.
Thanks again for your support and we look forward to serving you and the San Diego community for the next 25 years! |
