Melissa Marquardt impresses riders at 2nd Ladies Freeride Clinic

Liquid Force pro rider Melissa Marquardt wowed the participants of the Ladies Freeride Clinic with a impressive demonstration of over-the-top wakeboarding. Considered by many to be one of the top female riders in the world, Melissa competitive record may just justify such a title. She has won or placed in the top three of several high profile competitions such as the Games and the Vans Triple Crown. She is known for her style of "going big" and her mastery of difficult grabs and spins, uncharacteristic in girl's competition.

Melissa demo, while possibly the highlight of the day, was just one aspect of the days activities that included equipment demos, and specialized instruction for both the experienced riders, and some beginners who never wakeboarded prior to the event. No matter what the experience level of the participants, all participants agreed that meeting Melissa and see her ride has opened their eyes to what wakeboarding can be.
