Jessica's association with the Mission Bay Aquatic Center began before she was even born. Her parents met each other while working at the MBAC during their college years. She started sailing in MBAC sailing camps at the young age of six, and spent her childhood years at the center harnessing the winds of Mission Bay. Since then, she has trained for racing on Inter 20's and often serves as crew for her father. Jessica is now a sophomore at San Diego State University where she is studying English and Geography.

What is special about the MBAC?

"The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is truly a gem of San Diego. As a kid I loved the summer camps. As as a student I enjoyed learning water sports with my peers in a college setting. Now, as an employee, I love teaching sailing and giving people the opportunity to have as much fun at the Aquatic Center as I did!".
